In the real world, I can eat 1-1.5 Chick-Fil-A sandwich. In The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild, I can eat 1 million mushroom skewers.
If you can look at your phone, you can make 10x the world’s total GDP.
The map for Daggerfall was around the size of the United Kingdom. The average Minecraft map (of which there must now be millions) is 5 times the size of the Earth’s diameter.
They want you in the pod, eating the bugs. But you could also get in the dream, and have optionality. These are both opposed and harmonic.
A mf like me look for a fractal - the small in the whole, or the whole in the small. When you find a fractal, you also find infinity. Look at a leaf and see the whole tree. Look at a tree, and see the whole forest. Look at a grain of sand and see the whole beach.
Travel the world solving problems.
As the world becomes more PvP, the dream becomes egoless.
The zeitgeist desires a pliable body with a rigid mind. The dream desires a rigid body with a soft, tender mind.
Protect what is impossible to reconstruct - destroy everything else.
How are you not atomic bombing your mind every day? Why are you not committing genocide on yourself to save others from your violence? How can you wake up each day, without being born anew? How can you live each minute in the same cage? Look - the walls have become glass, and now they are oil. With a single touch, they are plastic - and now they are shell.
Love is the only thing that goes beyond economy and physics. It will make you abundant. I just can’t get enough.
